Huion is the real tool

I want to share my experience with my new tablet, I have had a small tablet with limited functions. It has stopped working so I started searching for options online (forums, blogs, Ebay and what my favorite artists were using). Finally I came across a YouTube review of Huion h610pro and I saw it worked really well with the one important detail:  it was so much more affordable than a Wacom tablet! I asked professional artists Asuka111 and Jcm2 for their opinion. They were impressed with the specifications and size of the active area! That is how I have got my Huion in July of 2015.

When I got the h610pro, I immediately started doodling with Paint Tool SAI, trying out different options and compatibility. The tablet was compatible with the software and it was easy to start drawing. In a week I have got used to the buttons. However, the most important is precision of my new tool. Drawing on Huion was a huge step forward for me because it is amazingly responsive, it has a spacious working area and all of that saves me a lot of time now. If I were to name the experience with Huion it would be named “smooth” as my progress from then on. The only thing missing might be a rotation button for changing the angle of the canvas because I do that often.

I did it by using vector layer in SAI. The vector layer is a tool that allows you to make straight lines and curve them easy on your own. It is a very useful tool but it means that you need to make the sketch lines and then remake the lines in the vector layer, it takes time. The response I have got was great!

After some time and practice, I was ready to leave the vector layer behind and save myself the trouble by making better lines with just the sketch. It was possible because of the precision of h610pro. It works perfectly in 1080p resolution and Windows 7. When I tried Manga Studio 5 the tablet worked just fine, even better than with SAI in some aspects. At that time I made my own characters Kako and Mirai.

Now I am much clearer about my own style and how to make improvements. I have perfect tools to reach that goal. I’m learning faster than before and I can make my drawings just like they appear in my mind. My latest drawing came out just as planned and this time it is a fanart of Street Fighters V.

Hello everybody, I thought it was time to tell everyone (and myself) what's my plan for drawings right now and in the near future.

Let's star with FanArts, there's a lot of fanarts coming from my favorite shows and games and that I've always wanted to make. From Hellsing to Vocaloid and even Super Smash or Pokemon, they're simple reasons to make these...

First - I want to! I have long list of favorite characters, the best way to show my love to them would be with a drawing.

Second - It's a challenge: Different styles of characters, colors and ideas to pick from... I feel ready to make them all.

Third - Promotion: Of course, to let people know me and let them know that I'm ready to make what you desire... Crossovers, romanticism, ecchi, violent or funny stuffs X) Is a win / win situation.

I don't know if this is good or bad but I'm planning to do the drawing of Vocaloid coming next and also one from the monogatari series... Why isn't good? well, because I might change opinion later for X reasons and I don't want to leave things unfinished.

After most of my hype has been lifted off of my shoulder with certain amount of fanarts and commissions, and my ability has matured to certain point, it will be time for original content... I want you to know what's inside of me, my style, my characters and their unique story, and I hope you like them like I do... There's an entire world awaiting.

I won't summit unfinished stuff here or sketches, you can follow My Tumblr DashAheadArt to see them, short comics or silly stuff and who knows... Some surprises.

My fanarts will be based on emotions so please, look for forward to them!!!

Hello world, specially my beloved watchers! it's been decided that my next drawing will feature Vocaloid Rin Kagamine, she is my favorite Vocaloid and I just love short haired blonde girls ... Oh, I also love her music! (Check her song Music of Heaven).

I'll use these journals as Goals! I will try some new tricks with the drawing! I will try to make it really cute... Because after that, my original drawings might not be cute all.

I'm looking to buy a Wacom 680 (digitizer) because my current tool makes curve in certain areas and is really a problem when I'm trying to improve my speed.

Hello my friends, thanks for being there! I'm making a new drawing, about RWBY ! it's getting popular and I like it, though I'm not used to make fan art... I should try drawing things I like, maybe Blazblue will come next -ANYWAY!  I need a teacher, or senpai... Maybe just someone to look up to and cares if I finish or not, before I thought that deadlines are bad for art but now I feel that without them is too easy to get lazy and a teacher will give them to me... I think!

So finally I feel healed from traumatic experiences in my life, do not worry ! I'll update tomorrow with an old drawing of mine, fixed thanks to the magic of SAI, it was hand drawing but the head was too big so it was for my eyes only... Untill now! it just needs fews adjustments and it will be ready!

The drawing "Dance" has progress too but due to the before mentioned circustances it had to be "paused"
